It is important to set the correct date and time if you want to imprint the date on your pictures (see Placing the Date on Pictures).


1. Turn on the camera and turn the Mode dial to Setup .
		2. Highlight the Date/Time Set menu, then press the Select button. The date format is YYYY/MM/DD. The time is displayed in a 24-hour format.
		3. Press the arrow buttons to move through the fields. Press the arrow buttons to adjust the date and time settings.
		4. Press Select to accept the changes.
		This setting remains until you change it.

NOTE:

As a reminder to set the date and time, the Set Date & Time screen is automatically displayed the first time you turn on the camera.
