Video Out is a regional setting that lets you successfully connect to a television or other external device (see Displaying Pictures/Videos on a Television).

1. Press the Menu button.

2. Press

to highlight Setup

, then press the OK button.

3. Press

to highlight Video Out

, then press the OK button.

4. Press

to highlight an option:

NTSC (default)—used in most countries except those in Europe and China. North America and Japan use NTSC.

PAL—used in Europe and China.

5. Press the OK button to accept the change.

6. Press the Menu button to exit the menu.

This setting remains until you change it.
